iFire has developed a new technology that is going to bring HDTV sets to a whole other level of value. Slated to be implemented in 2007, iFire's thick-film dialectric electroluminescent technology (TDEL) is a new method to develop thinner, less expensive flat-panel televisions. They boast a 37 inch HD screen that weighs a little over 2lbs and is two-centimeters thick. If this TDEL technology takes off one would hope it would be utilized to work with computers just as quick as TV sets.
